An Attitude Of Gratitude - Results Of the Daily Gratitude Poll

• Knowing that for every task someone doesn't like to do, there is someone who loves to do it, and can be paid for it, which frees up time for the first person to get paid for what they do best - win/win
• Cooling off a little from a heat wave
• Fond memories of an aunt who recently passed away
• Earplugs that drown out noisy neighbors at 2 a.m.

• Clouds, breeze
• A dog's vet bill that wasn't as bad as someone thought it would be

• Subway's $5 foot-long sandwiches and soft chocolate chip cookies

• Having the internet back
• Getting computer issues resolved without a tech support visit
• Grandparents visiting, hanging out with the kids

• Seeing a seal in the harbor during a bike ride on the strand
• The cool feeling of wet sand between someone's toes at the beach

• The large stash of frozen stuff from Trader Joe's in someone's freezer so she can quickly cook (assemble) dinner

• Hardly hitting any traffic on the 405 freeway during rush hour
• Dogs     
• Peacefulness of a deserted bike path in the mid-afternoon
• Finally Friday (when it was Friday)
• Mixing a lot of business with pleasure over a weekend
• The gift of time and the network of people someone is able to help towards prosperity
• A half-gallon of milk
• A helpful friend who took time out of her weekend to assist someone with a project
• When unexpected options reveal themselves
• Getting more done than expected
• Free internet streams of conferences and workshops
• Those moments when the universe comes into perfect alignment
• Someone's kids
• Meeting some very cool new friends over a weekend
• Managing to purge a good chunk of a filing cabinet (with help)

• Once again finding a secret sweet tooth stash that had been forgotten about
• A friend who is recovering from her bout with cancer quite well

• The end of swine flu in someone's house

• An 85 degree Southern California Thanksgiving (and air conditioning)    
• Crisp, cold snap weather, and a functioning heater
• A printer deciding to spontaneously start working again
• Two weeks of winter break
• The serene vibe on a very fine Christmas day

• Someone's organizer that was still on the bus stop bench where she forgot it
• Bay, sailboats, starfish, pink skies, balmy days
• A husband and kids being home on vacation
• A friend jetting off on a moment's notice to pick up a lost item for someone

• When computer issues spontaneously resolve themselves before having to call tech support

• Fridays
• Seeing a gorgeous bluejay in a courtyard in the morning
• Being able to squeeze in a rollerblade workout before the skies opened up with rain
• A Pacific Science Center membership...train show AND an IMAX film on Van Gogh, great day!   
• Taco Tuesday at Hole Mole
• Not being on the road
• Sunshine
• USPS offering free package pickup
• The Good Samaritan who gave someone a ride home so she didn't have to walk home in the pouring rain   
• Rain
• A safe car to take someone to Vegas   
• Being treated to a surprise sandwich by a friend
• Zipcars
